Not shaken or stirred…this martini is blitzed into a refreshing, grown-up slushie! With the classic martini base of gin and dry vermouth (swap the gin for vodka if you prefer), the tangy hit of pickle juice adds a subtle sweetness and zing.

Frozen Pickle Martini ingredients laid out on a table

For the full list of ingredients and comprehensive instructions, please see the recipe card below. Before you scroll, there’s some important info in the blurb!

The beauty of this Frozen Pickle Martini is in its simplicity. Pop everything in a high-speed blender, blitz until smooth and slushy, and garnish with a baby pickled gherkin (or two!) for the ultimate finishing touch.

If you’re a fan of savoury cocktails, this one’s for you. The pickle juice gives just enough tang to balance the boozy kick of the gin and vermouth, creating a drink that’s seriously refreshing without being too sweet.

Serve alongside your favourite nibbles – we’re thinking Pizza Twists with Pizza Dip, Whipped Blue Cheese Crostini or even a plate of Chicken Satay Skewers – and you’re onto a winner.

What diets is this Frozen Pickle Martini suitable for?

This recipe is suitable for vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free diets.

As always, if you’re cooking or mixing for someone with allergies, double-check every ingredient and prepare with care.
