Ninja Creami Peanut Butter and Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 230 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 150 ml single cream light alternative
  • 20 g caster sugar
  • 30 g granulated sweetener
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter powder
  • 15 g milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. To a mixing bowl, add cream cheese and microwave for 10 seconds. Whisk using a balloon whisk to break up the cream cheese.

  2. Add the milk, cream alternative, sugar and sweetener. Whisk until the sweetener has dissolved.

  3. Add the cocoa powder and peanut butter powder and mix until combined.

  4. Pour into your Ninja Creami tub. Pop the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.

  5. Remove the tub from the freezer and use the light ice cream function on your Ninja Creami machine. If your ice cream looks chalky or not a nice creamy consistency, use the re-spin function.  We used the light ice cream function once and re-spin once.

  6. Make a hole in your ice cream to the bottom of the tub about 2-4cm wide. Add the chocolate chips and use the mix-in function on the machine. Serve.
