Ninja Creami Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 230 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 150 ml double cream light alternative
  • 30 g caster sugar
  • 30 g granulated sweetener
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 19 g mini chocolate sandwich biscuits crushed

Instructions

  1. To a mixing bowl, add cream cheese and microwave for 10 seconds. Whisk using a balloon whisk to break up the cream cheese.

  2. Add the milk, cream alternative, sugar, sweetener and vanilla extract. Whisk until the sweetener has dissolved.

  3. Pour into your Ninja Creami tub. Pop the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.

  4. Remove the tub from the freezer and use the light ice cream function on your Ninja Creami machine. If your ice cream looks chalky or not a nice creamy consistency, use the re-spin function.  We used the light ice cream function once and re-spin once.

  5. Make a hole in your ice cream to the bottom of the tub about 2-4cm wide. Add the crushed chocolate sandwich biscuits and use the mix-in function on the machine. Serve.
