Slow Cooker Whole Garlic Chicken
This slow-cooked chicken is a roast dinner game-changer. We've rubbed a layer of seasoned reduced-fat butter beneath the skin to make sure every slice is moist and rich with garlicky goodness. Keep in mind that garlic granules are your best friend when it comes to slow-cooking; the lower temperature can give fresh cloves a harsh taste. You might want to pop it under the grill before carving, if you prefer crispy skin. Whatever you do , don't throw away those juices in the pot – use them to make a banging gravy!
