Slow Cooker French-Style Chicken in Red Wine
Don't be fooled – this lavish-looking chicken dish isn't from a fancy restaurant, even though it tastes like it! Chicken thighs, mushrooms and carrots are all cooked in a garlicky, thyme-infused red wine sauce until they're bursting with bistro-inspired flavours, for a fraction of the calories. While we've added a drop of red wine to zhuzh things up, feel free to swap in a stock pot, if you'd prefer. You'll love it with steamed greens on the side, or mop up all those lovely juices with a fluffy portion of mashed potato.
