We’ve given the classic Caesar salad a grab-and-go twist that’s perfect for busy weekdays, fakeaway nights or summer lunches in the garden.
Instead of croutons, we’ve gone for crispy breadcrumb-coated chicken strips (baked, not fried!) for the ultimate crunch. The creamy dressing is made from fat-free Greek yoghurt, light mayo and a touch of Parmesan, with garlic and lemon to keep it proper punchy.
Just build, wrap and roll – and if you want extra rolling power, pop your wraps in the microwave for 30 seconds to make them soft and easy to fold. You’ll want to keep this one in your weekly rotation!
What diets is this Caesar Salad Wrap suitable for?
This recipe is suitable for calorie-counting plans and sits in our Everyday Light category at just 344 calories per portion.
You can make this gluten-free by swapping to GF wraps and gluten-free breadcrumbs. Always check labels to be sure.
Please note: it’s not suitable for vegetarian, vegan or dairy-free diets, and there are no swaps included.
Do you need any special ingredients to make Caesar Salad Wrap?
Nope – everything is super easy to find!
We’ve used panko breadcrumbs for the ultimate crispiness. They’re usually in the baking aisle, but any dried breadcrumbs will work in a pinch.
Wrap-wise, use your favourite soft tortilla – just make sure it’s the right size to wrap and roll!

How many calories are in this Caesar Salad Wrap?
Each wrap contains 344 calories, making it a fab option for lighter lunches or dinners.
It’s packed with flavour and texture, and still keeps things on the slimming-friendly side.
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190ºC and line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
Step 2
Add the chicken to a bowl and sprinkle over the garlic granules and season with salt and pepper, stir to coat.
Step 3
Add the egg and panko to two bowls and dip each strip of chicken first in the egg and then into the panko and place onto the baking tray. Spray with low calorie cooking spray and cook for 20 minutes until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and chicken shows no sign of pinkness.
Step 4
In a small bowl, combine the dressing ingredients and stir until smooth.
Step 5
Now you are ready to assemble, lay the tortilla wraps on the work surface and spread a little of the dressing onto each wrap and top with lettuce and tomatoes. Add the chicken strips.
Step 6
Fold in the sides of the wrap so they are just covering the filling but not touching. Bring the top section of the wrap down and over the filling, rolling up until you reach the bottom, press and hold. Slice in half and serve.
What could I serve with this Caesar Salad Wrap?
This wrap is delicious on its own, but if you want to turn it into a bigger meal, you could add:
How do you know when the chicken in Caesar Salad Wrap is cooked?
The breadcrumb coating should be golden brown and the chicken should be white throughout, with no pinkness in sight.
This takes around 20 minutes in the oven at 190ºC. As always, check it’s cooked to 70ºC for 2 minutes for food safety.
How long can you keep Caesar Salad Wraps in the fridge?
These wraps are best assembled and eaten fresh, but you can prepare the components (chicken and dressing) in advance.
Store leftovers in separate airtight containers in the fridge for up to 2 days. Assemble your wrap fresh for the best texture.
Can I freeze Caesar Salad Wraps?
We don’t recommend freezing this recipe – wraps and lettuce don’t tend to thaw well, and the crumb coating may lose its crunch.
If you’d like to freeze the cooked chicken strips on their own, just reheat in the oven until piping hot.
How do I reheat Caesar Salad Wraps?
We wouldn’t reheat the full wrap, but if you’ve cooked the chicken ahead of time, you can pop it in the oven or air fryer until it’s hot and crispy.
Then build your wrap fresh, so nothing goes soggy!
