Very easy to use, simple features
I wanted a gadget to blend soups and other similar foods without getting my big food mixer out every time. This has been a great addition to the kitchen. This makes the short work of blending soup nice and smooth, with no damage to the pan as the guard is plastic. Great for blending with plenty of power, sufficient gaps in the base to allow solids to enter the cutting area and when angled slightly creates a small whirlpool reducing the need to move the blender. The blender is quite simple, only one speed so no turbo or booster. Very easy to clean, the blades are self-cleaning when blending in washing up water. The power unit is easily removable with a quarter turn and wipes clean over a smooth plastic finish (when unplugged of course). The mixing container is clear plastic with measurements which is a nice bonus. It very sturdy and well-made device, reasonably priced. Overall, I am very happy with the blended and definitely recommend it.

    This is a great hand mixer. I've used it for soups and sauces and it does a very good job. It blends evenly and quickly. It might only have one speed, but it's certainly powerful enough. And it's very easy to clean. The end chrome part just twists off to be cleaned with soapy water under the tap (or I guess can be put in the dishwasher), while the white part can be wiped down with a cloth. I have not used the beaker so far as have blended directly in the saucepan, so I can comment on that, other than it helps with storing the thing. And size-wise, it doesn't take up much room to store either. I thought the price was reasonable too, so all in all I am happy and would recommend.
