Metal attachment, efficient and sturdy
I bought this to replace my previous hand blender. The previous one was a well known quality brand, and was white and plastic. Over time, the metal rod wouldn’t attach anymore because part of the plastic fitting had broken. I use these to make soups. I blend when the soup has finished cooking, but is still hot. This has caused plastic blenders to become misshapen, which may have played a part in the plastic bit breaking. This blender has a metal attachment. This means it will not melt in the heat. It is a solid appliance and a good weight, indicating quality. I also use it to blend stew type stuff. Forgive the photo, as I make my own dog food, and this is a picture of that. I’ve included it to show how well it copes with substances sturdier than soup. This blended very quickly and I only used the low setting. It was a combination of carrots, potatoes, beef and other veg. I can recommend this product and would purchase again.

    I bought this blender to be able to make soups and it’s really good. It’s very sturdy, fairly lightweight, and comfortable in your hand. It has a soft touch button which is sensitive, however you can’t click it by accident. There is a dial on the top to speed up or slow down the blender. The power is great, and it only takes around a minute to get everything blitzed. It's a good size to fit in your hand comfortably. The design is really handy to store as it splits in half, therefore the blending end can be easily cleaned. The price of this for the quality you get is really surprising, I only wanted a cheap one to see if I would get use out of it, but the quality of this really is great. Would highly recommend.
