The media could not be loaded.
To my knowledge this is the same type of borosilicate glass (watch out cos there's another version of pyrex that isn't) so I expect these will likely last me the rest of my life unless I drop them out of a window or something stupid. If nothing else I'd be willing to bet they're more likely to last than any other glass bowls.
I figured the lids could be handy at some point but they weren't much of a factor for me. They do fit securely. They click down into place and take a bit of force to remove. I can lift them by the lid, give a little shake and they don't come apart.
I'm sure the lids will fail at some point in the lifetime of the bowls. But until then I'm happy to have them.
Oh and guess what else? They nest together... WITH THEIR LIDS ON!
