Best baster I could ask for. Yes it can be expensive but it is worth it. It goes in the dishwasher and nothing has rubbed off. It has a little stand so nothing is touching the kitchen surfaces. It's very simple and easy to use. Easy to clean as you can remove the parts. It's light, does not leak, and it's very good quality.

    This is such a useful little jug!

    If you enjoy making proper gravy with a Sunday roast then this helps no end.

    When cooking a Sunday roast, you pour all of the juices from the roasting tray into this jug and then let them naturally separate.
    The fat will rise to the top, allowing you to pour it off, leaving the juices with which you can then make your gravy.
    (Keep the separated fat in a jar, or other suitable container, as its really useful when cooking roast potatoes, or Yorkshire puds).

    I'm so pleased I bought this, highly recommended!

    Untried as yet. Looks flimsier than an OXO gravy separator I bought around 10 years ago. Also appears to have no temperature guidelines or guarantee! Was particularly poorly-packed: 𝗻𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 and the (unsealed) plastic bag was just in a large brown paper bag with zero padding. Not very impressed but we'll see how it performs.

Simply pour gravy into the heat-resistant Separator and watch the fat rise to the top. The strainer catches unwanted bits, and the stopper keeps fat out of the spout.
