    The digital display on my old cooker stopped working so I wanted a simpler model. This has a much smaller capacity but it is neat and straighforeard. On, off ,high and low switch. I didn’t realise there was no timer on it, must have missed that, which is ok if you’re there to manage it, or if it’s on low, but a timer is very handy for setting it when you go out, knowing that it will switch off and stay warm if you’re late back. Overall it’s a handy slow cooker for two people, which cleans well and works efficiently. Can’t think why I’d need to chalk on it but the chalk is a novel freebie. Would recommend.

    Great slow cooker, perfect now we don't have kids, this was to replace the 6.5L cooker as it's too big for two.
    It came two days earlier than expected so today we loaded it up, turned it on and went about our day, all great.
    Then hubby came back early to it was not on, on investigation he found that it arrived with a 3amp fuse fitted which had blown, now we're no experts but think it should be a 13amp fuse, which it now is, not an ideal start to our new cooker, will update again if we have any further problems
    Feb 23, it blew fuse again a couple of weeks after the original review, got in touch with supplier who replaced it straight, a little bit confusing as several companies contacted me about replacement, but happy to say it arrived, again earlier than expected and has been working fine, oh it it came with a booklet which shows fuse should be 3 amp rating, so all in all 5 stars for product and service all round 😎

    I bought this when my son moved back home as I am vegetarian and he is a meat eater. My old slow cooker is an oval shape and tends to take up a bit more work space so this is a nice neat design which is taller to hold more. It is very easy to use, heats up quickly and the ceramic dish is easy to clean if put into soak immediately when empty. I do love the convenience of a slow cooker as you have the versatility of low, high and warm settings and the electricity usage is minimal.
