I have been so impressed with this silicone spatula that I bought another 2 - an extra for myself and one for a present.
I find that most silicone spatulas are much too soft and flexible so the food slips off them when you try to transfer the food from the frying pan to a plate or serving dish. This is an issue even with something as light as fried eggs.
This spatula is sturdy enough to transfer the food from the frying pan - it won't bend at all, so no food slips off it. It's sturdy enough to use for cooking without being careful, it's gentle enough to avoid scratching your cookware. Also, it's really comfortable to use - the handle is soft on the hands.
Cleaning by hand takes only very little effort.
It's a really good quality item and will certainly outlast any silicone spatulas I've had in the past.
