In the video I didn't take my hand off it was my first time using it, but you can take your hand off This worked really well. Inside was half a frozen avocado, water, a banana and a random combination of healthy stuff and pea protein. Yum 😑 This mixture has broken two other blenders that 'can crush ice and blend frozen fruits' there's literally only one thing frozen in my mix (the avocado since they go off so fast) this has no issues blending it all quickly into a smooth gloop. There's no smell when running it (since the review prompt asked) and the size fits nicely in the kitchen. I am using this daily, so if it breaks I'll be back to update the review. For now though, this is really great, it's not quiet, but it's not the loudest I've had either, it's about the expected noise level (and quieter when no frozen item is included) all in all it seems great quality and I'm hoping to use it for a very long time.

    We had another 600 series model, but after 6-7 years it stopped working. So, we bought this one. Although it looks the same, it is not. My kids constantly complain about pieces in their smoothies. I even used the extractor blades from the old one, and still have small pieces in.

It pulverises stems, seeds and skins where some of the usually neglected essential nutrition lies. The NutriBullet completely breaks down ingredients into a pulp free, delicious smoothie. Crushes ice, bursts open seeds, cracks through stems, and shreds tough skins to help you consume the normally unused nutrition. Note: Avoid overloading the product and allowing the motor to run longer than the recommended run time. To prevent overheating never allow the motor to run for more than one minute at a time.’ This can cause permanent damage to the motor. If the motor is left running or too long, unplug the power base and let it cool for an hour before attempting to use it again. It is also advised that the NutriBullet is used on a level surface and is unobstructed when in use. If the product is used on an uneven surface or in an area that hasn’t left enough space around the unit, it may cause the product to overheat. The user manual states the following- ‘Always operate the NutriBullet on a level surface, leaving unobstructed space beneath and around the power base to permit proper air circulation. Slots and openings on the bottom of the product are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable motor operation and to prevent overheating. Note : To prevent overheating, never allow the motor to run for more than one minute at a time, as it can cause permanent damage to the motor.
