Still Great After 1 Year Of Use
I don't know why this blender has been receiving lots of hate? Is it the worst blender, as some people wrote? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I've been using it for a year now, and it's going strong. It's powerful but noisy, but this is to expect from a budget blender. It's easy to clean. The 1.25 liters is plenty for my needs, and it's perfect for crushing ice, frozen fruit, veg, oats, and nuts. No issues here with the lid falling off, it's properly sealed when I use it. I highly recommend this blender for the price.

Very good , I am very happy with its results. It blends well n cant expect more from this.
I used the same model for 4 Yrs then there was some black liquid that came between the base and the Jug, but nothing came inside the jug, so I tried to get another blender from Tefal, but I was not happy with its result. So I returned the Tefal blender and I purchased the same Philips model.

This is a great blender for me as I live alone, it's not too small but also not massive, 1.25l is a perfect size.
It's very easy to clean and for the jug is plastic and very light so it's great for people who can't lift the glass jugs that blenders normally have that tend to be quite heavy.

My only real issue with this blender is the noise! I have no idea why but it's so unnecessarily loud, I don't know if it's just mine, but it sounds like I'm drilling holes in the wall. I live in an apartment with thin walls and I have no doubt my neighbour can hear this thing. I'm super conscious about using it now, I have to hold the whole machine in my hands while its on so the noise isn't amplified by my kitchen counters.

Other than that it's a great blender for the price, it does a good job but I might not keep it for long due to how loud it is. I'm assuming I just got a faulty one so I might send it back.

I do recommend this blender, I just wish it was quieter!

Brilliant, bought this to puree my sons homemade food instead of buying baby food pouches or jars, meaning I have a happy baby!!
Use this at least 3 times a week to puree several portions of food and its so simple to use!

Easy to clean and the jug isn't heavy unlike previous blenders I've owned!

The suction power is great and keeps the blender in place when in use. Good size, allows for several portions of food to be blended whilst not taking up to much space on the counter.

Also great for conjuring midnight margaritas too, which makes for a happy mama too!

It does what it supposed to do.
I personally find it very Noisy, like its low cost are low quality, well at least it is Noisy.
This is a real Problem! The switch is badly designed. Warning.
If you leave it on and go to take the blender off and your little finger just touches the Pulse switch, Expect to be having to the contents all over you, the kitchen, Yes I did. A real mess. and Big clean up.
I have to switch of at the wall with every step. The Switch is too sensitive and so easy to just touch.
Ok or keep the lid on till you have finished.
I cant recommend it. Wish I had got another make.
Get some ear plugs and Keep the Lid on until you remove it.
I add differing things in stages. One Slip and you will be warring it

Very easy to use. Can blend milk, fruit, protein, vegetables etc very easily to make a smoothie.

I hold the lid on the top, blend for 10 seconds and rest for 5 seconds. Continue for 60-90 seconds; however blended you want it.

Ignore the reviews from stupid people saying the blender went everywhere - it’s not a clip or screw on lid, so common sense says to hold it down.

Philips typically make great household products, but this isn't one of them. Here's why...

As others have said it's very dangerously designed with a toggle switch (instead of a dial) which can easily be turned on when attaching the jug, meaning its contents would go flying into the air if you haven't yet attached the lid. Often, the button is depressed (on) without even noticing.

It's fairly low power at 350w but extremely loud and with a harsh sound, like an electric saw! There are many other blenders (Tefal) with subdued sound.

The jug lid is badly designed with no locking mechanism at all. It uses suction power and that isn't going to last long.

The jug capacity is smaller than most blenders but price is the same as larger ones.

It looks easy to clean as the jug uses a unique method but doesn't look like it will withstand daily use for long. Philips have made better blenders in the past. I'd look elsewhere for a brand like Tefal or Kenwood.
