Climate Pledge Friendly
I bought these with the intention of replacing my regular paper kitchen towels as the packaging suggests, but as pleasantly surprised by the sheer variety of tasks they're useful for. The wipes are made from bamboo viscose and biodegradable plastic, meaning they could theoretically be composted. That said, I have run these through the wash multiple times and can't see them requiring disposal any time soon.
I'm admittedly not the tidiest person, and would often use kitchen towels to mop up egg whites off my work surfaces when making my morning omelettes, which inevitable left a visible residue. As these are significantly more absorbent than paper towels, and hold up better to rinsing and wringing out, I tend to find these are much better at this task.
They're also great for dusting, mopping up spillages on furniture and they have been absolutely indispensable for reducing moisture in the bathroom post shower. I'm even convinced that they could replace wet wipes, but this isn't a test I've put them to yet.
I'll do another review in a year to see how they've lasted, but in this early stage I'm incredibly pleased with the results so far.
