    I hesitated buying this product because of the mention of silicone in the top highlights. The AI Q&A confused matters as it said the covers were made of silicone. To me silicone in cookware is plastic, so I did not want it.

    However, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived with glass covers.

    A Pyrex dish has featured in my entire life. My mother using floral patterned ones as a child and then when I left home I was a gifted a large Pyrex casserole dish. Over the years I have had a few and only accidents has robbed me of this versatile dish. So at the grand old age of 63 I purchased this three-piece set to replace a dish I accidently smashed the other day. In purchasing them I knew that they will probably last longer than me!!

    I genuinely love their versatility from oven to table. Being clear glass they complement any table setting.

    I am very happy with my purchase, and believe every kitchen should have at least one Pyrex dish in its range of pots and pans!

    I was concerned about ordering these as several people mentioned the poorly fitting lids.I knew it would be easy to return and I dont usually use the lids anyway.Now I have them I see what people mean.I think it is a new design and not a fault as they are all the same.The design is very different to the traditional design that has been around for years.The lids overhang the base unlike the old version.I presume pyrex have done this so the lids are easier to remove when the dish is hot.But also when the lids are on you can push them a little way side to side so they dont sit dead centre in the base.I have no idea why but I presume pyrex have done this for a reason.
    I havnt used them yet so I dont know if I will get used to them or prefer the old design.
    I suggest if you have any doubts or dont like change then have a look at them in the shops.
    I think I would be careful when I first used them as they are so different to the old version.
    Personally I think Pyrex should maybe not have fixed what was not broken and I suspect its not the best new design they could have come up with.

    Por el precio que tienen, la verdad, no se les puede pedir más.
    El cristal, es Pirex, aguanta tanto el horno, como el microondas y las tapas ajustan perfectamente, siendo válidas como platos.
    Creo que la pequeña, es la menos usada en casa, pero aún así, cuando queremos hacer alguna comida sana para los niños, es más que suficiente para ellos.
    Las otras dos, las usamos según necesidades, y en la más grande, podemos cocinar para 2 adultos y los 2 pequeños.
    Se lavan perfectamente a mano o en el lavavajillas, y a pesar de que el cristal es quizá un poco más fino que otro modelo de Pirex de 2.3L que ta teníamos en casa, el conjunto de estas 3, cuestan lo mismo que el otro modelo, por lo que 3, por el precio de una, y la calidad, no merma demasiado.

    Desde hace 3 meses, las usamos casi a diario, y se han llevado los mismos golpes que podría haberse llevado la otra gende de Pirex, y están como el primer día, con lo cual, igual esa percepción de ser inferiores, no es real.

    Indispensable en la cocina, para comer sano, sin sabores, olores o residuos que dejan otros recipientes de materiales más nocivos.
    El cristal, es lo mejor y más sano, y si aguanta temperaturas extremas como es el caso, mejor que mejor.

    Totalmente recomendables.
