The extract is in a carrier oil rather than alcohol, which means that those who are allergic to alcohol (yes, I do know people who are!) won't have a problem with it and you won't get the volatile components evaporating. It's packed in a darkened glass bottle, which gives good protection from photodegradation and you won't get a plastic taint as you might from a plastic bottle.
