    I’m really impressed with this Tefal Taste Twin Frying Pan Set — both the 20cm and 28cm pans are fantastic for everyday cooking. The burnt-on eggs, the panicked scraping of a spatula, the shameful soak-and-forget routine that leaves the sink looking like a crime scene. Fortunately, Tefal’s Taste Twin Pack frying pans are something of a culinary reprieve — not just functional, but genuinely impressive for the price.

    This set includes two pans: a nimble 20cm and a more generous 28cm — a well-judged pairing that covers everything from solo omelettes to a respectable Saturday morning fry-up for the whole household. It's the Goldilocks approach to cookware: one for your eggs, one for your ambitions.

    The real showstopper here is the non-stick coating. Tefal, to their credit, aren’t just coasting on brand recognition — the coating on these pans is nothing short of miraculous. You can fry an egg with barely a glimmer of oil and watch it pirouette across the surface like it’s in a cooking show audition. Pancakes, bacon, halloumi, even the ever-temperamental tofu glide off the surface as if to say, “Thanks, but I shan’t be staying.”

    This sort of performance would be impressive at any price, but given the modest cost of this twin pack, it’s borderline outrageous. I’ll admit, I was suspicious at first. Affordable pans that promise the world often deliver burnt sausages and bitter regret. But these have not only proved reliable — they’ve become daily workhorses in my kitchen. Even after repeated use, the coating hasn’t flaked, faded or shown signs of weary surrender.

    The build quality is commendable too. These pans feel sturdy without being back-breakingly heavy, and they heat evenly, which is all one can reasonably ask of anything not powered by sorcery. The handles are comfortable and stay cool even when things get steamy, which means no awkward flinching with tea towels hastily draped over hot metal.

    Cleaning is almost laughably easy. A quick swish under warm water with the gentlest of sponge contact and it’s as though nothing ever happened. Honestly, I’ve spent more time wiping down a chopping board.

    If you’re the sort who winces at the thought of spending a fortune on kitchenware but still wants pans that won’t betray you in the middle of cooking, this set is a quietly brilliant choice. No flashy gimmicks, no silly extras, just solid, honest, dependable performance.

    In summary, these Tefal frying pans strike that rare sweet spot between affordability and genuine quality. I’ve absolutely no complaints — only the mild frustration that I didn’t buy them sooner. Wholeheartedly recommended, unless of course you enjoy scrubbing burnt cheese at midnight.

Another problem comes when you buy a Tefal lid for 28cm, suddenly it’s not fitting and you’re disappointed even further. Not a very good experience sadly.
