A few months in and coating peels off, NO Warranty
Just wanted to warn people, after a few uses just boiling milk the coating started peeling off. Both on the inside, and less importantly on the outside with normal use on a gas hob. I contacted Amazon, as it was bought directly from them, and they advised there is no guarantee/warranty for this item and as its outside 30 day return period they refuse to do anything... I was unaware that any item sold in UK did not come with a guarantee?

    So relieved to find this little 'Safire' pan with all-round lip. The last one i bought - 'Judge' - had a longer handle which was much too heavy for the pan which constantly tipped when only light substance in it - eg melting a knob of butter. This one remains upright on the hob even when empty, and I can hold pouring jug in one hand and stir with the other without needing to hold the saucepan up with my third hand! I can boil two large eggs easily; how many eggs was the person cooking who said they wouldn't fit? I can scramble eggs, heat tinned tomatoes or baked beans, cook 2 portions of porridge. So good I bought two. Obviously at this price I don't expect the non-stick to last forever; if it remains available I can buy a new one every year.

    Great little pan. Yes, it's tapered, but holds enough milk to make custard for 2 with room to spare, or melting chocolate in a glass bowl above it! So I find it simply awesome for smaller cooking jobs. I have gas hobs and it sits fine without toppling over (unless I dont centrally place it, but that can happen with any pan! Or if left empty with a large utensil in it, then yes, the weight of the utensil can tilt it over, but common sense with physics helps stop this 😂). The non-stick is perfect and it is easy to clean. It is nicely small which is exactly what I wanted, a small milk pan.

    Not very heavy so be careful when using this pan on a gas hob. I have had many near misses with this pan toppling over.

    I love that it has a lip for pouring. This proves very useful for pouring milk or chai into a mug.
    It is non-stick as advertised and a great size for heating/cooking small quantities (yey single living!).
    It's not as non-stick as other brands but that's not a deal breaker for what the average person will use this pan for.

    If I could do it again, I'd spend more money on a heavier bottom pan however this is a great little pan for the price (just over £5).

    This is an excellent pan for one person. I've used it for milk, scrambled eggs, sauces and loads more. It's so good I'm getting another couple

    Update Sep 2018. Given that I usually use a wooden utensil in my pans, I have no problems with the non-stick coating - and all three of my pans get regular use. Big enough to heat up a can of soup, baked beans etc. I use these far more than I do all my other pans put together! No regrets buying these.

    Great little pan for such a cheap price - good smooth non stick which does clean easy -
    only one draw back to the small pan is the small base measuring 11 cm - would be fine on electric hob - but be careful on gas hob with the bars because its easy to tilt it.
    Anyway, I`m impressed with the quality for the price and ordered the next size of 18cm and this is fine on my gas hob - also both sizes pour brilliantly from the double sided pouring lip - with no drips.

    The size is perfect for heat milk and cooks bechamel sauce for two people. The only thing is that you can find another one even cheaper in the supermarket but I don't know if the quality is good. However, this is a good option if you need to heat milk and you don't want to go out to find a milk pan.

    .. aber man kann sich mit der Grösse ja auch mal besser auseinandersetzen. Ich brauche das Töpfchen nur zur Fruchtgummiherstellung, also ich verschmelze Fruchtkonzenrat mit Gelatine und dabei muss ich auch rühren. Mal gucken, wie lange die Beschichtung hält. Ich finde den Topf sehr preiswert und deshalb erwarte ich immer keine Wunder. Aber wenn er - wie oben erwähnt - 2 Jahre hält, dann kann man für das Geld wirklich nicht meckern. Schauen wir mal, wie er sich bewährt.
