The baking pan measures 23 cm (9 inches) square, with a depth of 4 cm (1½ inches). This is a great size for roasting portions of veg, cooking up a rich lasagne, or baking tasty traybakes and brownies.

    This is the second time I have ordered one of these baking tins, and it isn't quite the same as the original (or indeed, the one shown in the photos). The old version has straight sides with a rolled lip; the one I received yesterday has a flat brim and therefore a slightly smaller internal capacity. From my point of view, this is no bad thing, since the new one stacks neatly inside the old one. The enamel coating appears to be of the same durable quality, and that, for me, is the main thing. It would be wonderful if Masterclass could expand the range of vitreous enamel bakeware, since this finish is far superior to any chemical non-stick coating, capable of surviving all the knocks and dings of metal implements, the bottom rack of the dishwasher, scouring pads and soaking in washing soda.
