    I've been using this relish for around 30 years since I first came across it when visiting friends in Cheshire.

    It's delicious on cheese on toast (aka grilled cheese), and anywhere you would use Lea & Perrins Worcester Sauce. It's not as dark and heavy, nor as salty as Worcester sauce. It's every bit as good and in my opinion, it's preferable.

    I'm used to having the L&P brand of Worcester Sauce and and this is very similar although it's unfortunately not quite as punchy and pungent. It is cheaper though and makes a good alternative (suitable for vegans too) for chips, stews, Bolognese etc.

    I can't believe how expensive this has become. I'm local to the area it's from, and it's a staple up here. It was always known as 'the poor man's Worcestershire sauce'. Not anymore, there's no way I would have bought it if it wasn't on offer. But that's how things are now. But 'Hendo's' is my all time favourite
