Bought this item recently and have had it for less than 1 week. On the first use, there was a weird smell but it did the job and I assumed I had used it on the wrong speed, especially as it was new. I was making 12 queen cakes!
I used it for the second time yesterday, again for a batch of 12 queen cakes and using on the lowest setting, it burned out halfway through mixing. Seems like very poor quality and not fit for it's basic purpose!
