These once graced the kitchen of everyone's Grandmother and are miles ahead of horrible unhealthy plastic things that get scratched and stained over time. It is a high quality product and I would expect this to be with us for ever now. The big 6l capacity makes it perfect to use without stuff jumping over the sides, and the traditional design is made to be grippy if you're the sort who wants to cuddle your bowl while mixing up something big and stodgy in it!!

    So every house in Ireland would have had one of these mixing bowls so iconic back in the 70s & 80s, so glad to see they are as popular as ever. My own mother passed away 5 years ago so I had her original one it was so old but I loved it. It broke last week I was absolutely heartbroken. But Amazon to the rescue, placed my order and within 2 days my bowl arrived very well packaged and the bowl looks great. Delighted with it. Here’s to many more days of baking.
